A QR code asks another device to handle the passkey. You do not scan your phone’s screen with that same phone.
If AutoFill is already on, check which provider is selected under AutoFill From. When using Apple Passwords, also check iCloud Passwords & Keychain sync. The website cannot inspect these settings.
If the prompt still fails, try the invitation in Safari on your own iPhone or Mac. This is a troubleshooting step, not a guarantee. Never use Jamison’s passkey for your setup.
